In Windows 7 you can enable parental controls, which enables your children access certain programs, games, etc. Set limits to the computer usage.

To do that go to Start > Control panel > User Accounts, now the user accounts window will open.

In the left-hand side bottom, you can find parental controls. Click it and the control window opens.

Now click the account which gets listed in the window, it will say that you can’t do it in the administrator account and it will ask for creating a new account. Click yes and create a new account (enable password to change in next login). Now click the new account created and choose “On,enforce current settings”. After that enable the necessary settings. And click OK. Now the parental control is enabled in the chosen account.

Time limits: Set the time your child can use the PC, Drag from the starting time to the end time.

Games: Allow all Microsoft games or block (Games which belongs to Microsoft will be blocked)

Windows 7 have a default application named “Windows Disc Image Burner” to burn ISO files, which helps us to burn ISO files without any additional software.

To burn an ISO, right-click the ISO file and go to open with. It will list the applications with which you can burn the ISO. Choose windows disc image burner and burn your ISO.

Quick launch is enabled in Windows XP and Vista by default, but in Windows 7 it is not.

To enable the quick launch, follow the steps.

1. Right click the Taskbar and go to Toolbars.
2. Now select ‘New Toolbar’, paste the following code in the Folder column.

3. Now click ‘Select Folder’.
4. Its done!. You can find the quick launch option in Taskbar.
