Happy news for Vodafone India users. Vodafone India has slashed its 2G data rate by 80% .i.e from 10p/10kb to 2p/10kb. They have also announced the places where the date rates have been currently slashed, which includes Karnataka, UP West and Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circles. For the rest of the places it will be implemented soon.
The price reduction makes Vodafone the cheapest 2G data service provider. This offer is applicable both to the prepaid and postpaid users. I feel the price reduction enables many users to get & stay connected via internet. And i hope this intiative will make other service providers to slash the data rates.
Come on India lets move to the next generation ’3G’.
